This note is for John

As the title says, this note is for John, because he demanded a new note. So here it is. I don't have much to say since last time, as I haven't really done much this week other than read Calvin and Hobbes in French and attempt to teach my french students about American slang. Actually, the class I had yesterday was pretty horrible. They wouldn't stop talking for an instant...all girls. So, I ended up playing hangman. It got them to shut up. My second class decided not to show up. So, I rode my bike to the mairie and got my official titre de sejour. A nifty little card that expires at the end of May...so, i'm legal in France until that date, but I'll most likely be leaving sooner than that...actually, I'll be back before the end of April...just in time for Sarah's birthday! I had bball practice yesterday, but I only had two students there...so we played 21 and I smoked 'em. I couldn't win a game of 21 in the states to save my life...well maybe just once or twice. Maybe its because I was playing against Andrew...oh man, I'm gonna get used to playing soft against French people and I'm gonna return to the states and get my rear handed to me! As it is Wednesday, almost all of the students have gone home. Wednesdays in France are half days for students. Class ends about noon. I wish America operated on a French time table...that is to say, that no one (including professors) shows up to class on time...stores close arbitrarily...and meals last for hours! Sounds good to me. Also, this whole working only 12 hours a week. yeah...I dig that. Life is gonna be so hard when I get back!! Anyhoo, I had better get going...I'm going to go search for my "beau sapin"...my christmas tree! I hope I can find a tiny one to put up in my apartment... Mom, don't forget to mail me my christmas music! Maybe I'll brave the cold tonight and bike through downtown to view all of the lights that have been strung up. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas... I love you all and enjoy this holiday season!

Wow, you're heading back that soon? So you'll be back in time for commencement too? XD When you get back, feel free to challenge me to 21, if you want to remember what it's like to smoke people, hehe. Working on that right now in basketball class and I think I'm lucky if I get something like... seven... of those points.

Also, just out of curiosity, did the last e-mail I sent get through by any chance? I'm not sure how much gets blocked by the school interwebs, heh.

Meh...this is my note...meh...someone commented before i did. MEH AGAIN...whatevs...Thank you for my own special note. hehe. SOOOOO what is it with people not showing up to class...is that normal? and by nobody do you mean it was probably an attempt to just skip class as a whole. Like...an evil plan of sorts? Christmas! YAY! i loves me some christmas. haha...oh gosh...i miss you Lauren. haha.

LAUREN!!!

You make me laugh!! Hangman, huh? ;) Gotta love it when students don't listen to you! :) Although, I don't have that problem here in Thailand. In the States... oh man!

Wednesdays are half days, so then do they have classes on Thursday? I think Friday as a half day would make more sense. :)

You're going to be home by the end of April!!! YAY!!! That means I get to see your beautiful face in person and not just via facebook and blogs!!! :) YES!!! I'm excited! I'm soo looking forward to coming home and seeing everyone! I think I'm so excited well, because I miss everyone tons for sure, but also because I am coming back for another go around at this whole teaching in Thailand thing.

Love ya lots!!!

I mean just that...they just don't show up to class! it's not an evil conspiracy or anything...they're just French. That and my time table keeps getting screwed up. Taylor, i got your Thanksgiving email, but I haven't had a chance to answer it yet...I really don't have access to facebook, so if you message me on facebook, the likelihood is that I'll get back to you sometime in the next month. John...I couldn't find a tree! And when i started to search...it began to rain! so...I went back home. And Elainea...nope...for some odd reason, wednesdays are the half days. Thursdays and fridays are full days. I think this might be because the french used to have school on saturday mornings. Hope I answered everyone's questions!
p.s. the word verification I had to type was fanted...what does that mean? It looks like a mix between farted and fainted.

"Readom" Like a kingdom of reading. You would like that one, Lauren.

Yay, you're back for my 21st!! Heh heh, we're gonna celebrate this Loma style!!

We never got to finish watching Love Actually, because some people (*cough JUSTIN cough*) were complaing about pornographic material. Geez, grow up.

Do I get a post? I do believe that I am the most frequently mentioned American person in your blogs, though, so that's gotta count for something.
